Corollary to this piece, a colourized version of this sketch adapted as the third leader portrait for the New Hetmanate for Reus' Civilization IV IOT mod. With the exception of my absolute butchering the scale of the awards, nothing pains me more about the original sketch than how much vibrant detail is lost by my inability to surmount black-and-white. While the technique is simple, I'm not sure I'd call these easy, but since they've turned out so well I think I'll revise the Secret Asian Man to complete the set.

Background is a photo from a 2001 military parade in Kyiv.
