Meet Augar, the alpha male of a pride of northern gryphons in the Ronin mountains. He's the strongest and fastest of his pack, the undisputed leader, even though he's not always the most likeable of fellows. Stormfyre ends up in his company, and the two have a way of setting each other off. Unfortunately, when they do, Stormfyre gets the worst end of it. Pencil sketch, colored in Photoshop. I like that you're not afraid to use bold colors. I also think that, in some areas, it gets a little hard to see (under his neck/bill, for instance.) Ooh, a background! It adds nice atmosphere.

Yeah, it had occurred to me about the dark on dark there. This was my first try at shading something that black. Thanks for the note.
