The Balkan Socialist Workers' Republic was a country in Beyond the Revolution, the second of three attempts to export IOT to the now-defunct forum Beyond the Lampshade. It was played by Chernobog, an apparently high-ranking member of the forum. Formed in the aftermath of a near-future Balkan war, it was a confederation of quasi-Chekist worker-militias. The BSWR joined with the game's other socialist states in a defensive alliance, providing support in the Mexican and Australian civil wars.

Reconstruction of Chernobog's original raster, uploaded to the now-defunct IOT Wiki in 2020; fist by KeithTyler. Package includes the master file and export version with embedded text; uses Kremlin font.
