Definitely has that RPG overworld feeling to it! Great job!

1:21 mood whiplash jumpscare XD

Actually the shift in tones gives this the feel of a symphonic overture: 0:00–0:30 the shantytown prologue, 0:31–1:20 pining for adventure, 1:21–2:42 The Adventure, 2:43–3:15 the glorious climax, 3:16–3:39 (bittersweet?) finale/sequel hook?

@Thorvald: Yup the idea was to start off something simple and then expand it into something very lush and vibrant sounding as to pull the audience into the world. The switch between sound narratives gives a distinction of change of scenes or events that occur in the game from a quiet setting to boarding an airship right to the point where the ship takes off and the main characters see their little town from up above. All this was to convey a sense of both timidness and excitement felt by the characters from seeing the sky sea in all its glory, something of which the characters have never seen up till now. The ship then flying past other ships while the characters point at things all new to them and the childlike wonder and sense of adventure building up. Flying cargo ships with their loads of containers sailing past as the clouds part ways in a sort of oceanic pattern and the shining sun, its rays dancing off the bow of one airship to another. Other passenger airships with people waving at them as they pass giving the whole feel of that of a studio Ghibil movie. Right up to the part where in the horizon the first real city emerges welcoming the adventurers to their first destination amongst many. So that was what I was shooting for when I created the track and I had all these scenes in my head as I composed the music.

@BadKarma: *That was the whole idea when working on this track. While being 16 bit sounding as I used 16 samples, I wanted the music not only to give that nostalgic sound but also offer something no video has ever done before, make it close to a cinematic score as possible given the limitations of 16 bit technology, still I used something modern samples of brass and strings and percussion to really make the track come alive. 2:42 to 3:15 is my absolute favorite part and was actually NOT planned to be in the track as I was just fiddling around trying to figure out an ending...the end result sounds like some kind of epic adventure about to take place. *
