Piedmont Factory: Basement
Piedmont Factory: Basement by @rollee (Rollee Bitterblossom)

The basement was the rotten heart of Piedmont Factory. The refinery set up on top was mainly just the front to hide this underbelly where the real work was done. Winding pipelines and redundant boilers hid illegal distilleries and drug labs in plain sight. File cabinets were filled with falsified documents. Godwin’s goons held meetings of shady business in the dark rooms below. Though many of the kids had an inkling of the shady nature of what they were doing, they also knew they were not supposed to talk about it.

After the Night of the Fire, the basement remains an area of dark activity. The confusing layout makes it easy to get lost in, more likely for intruders to stumble upon a haunt. The ghost of Robert, trapped down there, haunts his flooded catacomb. Ruby’s slammers are still in use and Lucas keeps his collections of eyes in his workshop. The ancient furnace is still eerily active, as Lilly drags the bodies she finds down there to burn them down to ash in her fruitless attempt to keep the place clean.

I love it! We are certainly getting a good look at what this place was like. I'm glad you labeled some of the points of interest. This area seems to have been more of a dungeon than a basement even before the fire.
