Coolest Neighbor
Coolest Neighbor by @SabakuKyuut777

I know its probably out of character for Porky to say "thank you" but lets just say this is one of the good paths and that hes learning to be nicer <3 i have a couple comics exploring Porky's potential to be be kind. I also have a few ideas in mind for where he gets worse than he is in the game, just for funsies~ whether i post them or not depends on whether i can actually finish the art. But I do especially like seeing Porky make progress, even if its just saying "thank you". I think Ness would agree with me haha

An alternative timeline where Porky and Picky are like little brothers to Ness, how nice would that be!

@abyssEden: Yes! Even as just neighbors I imagine their dynamic to be somewhat like that. Even if Porky is older than Ness, he is certainly years younger than him mentally. And actually, I do have the headcanon that Picky gets adopted by Ness's family after the end of Earthbound.

@marven4lyf: That's a very cool headcanon! The brothers' parents definitely don't seem to fit uh... parental role, anyway, lol. I felt really bad for Picky when I got to tag with him at the start for a bit.

@abyssEden: Saaame ;-; I especially felt bad for Picky at the end now that he'd be living alone in that toxic household. He totally deserves better than that. And Porky does too. The game makes it clear that he's only awful because of his parents not raising him right. I think the Minch brothers are a good example of how abuse can affect people differently.

@marven4lyf: Yeah... The kids definitely deserved better. I don't remember whether Picky got any resolution, like he got to tag along with us at the start and then he kinda isn't that relevant for the rest of the game. The part where we got to their parents' house was pretty painful to observe honestly. I should replay the series someday lol, it was a while.

@abyssEden: Picky deserves way more screentime than he gets, but I love the small glimpse into their family dynamic. If I was Ness, I'd beat up Aloysius and Lardna for hitting Picky and Porky (Really, why did he just stand there and let it happen? xD) Im glad that at least Aloysius seems to get punished. And yes, I gotta replay too. I actually have 2 games in progress but I took a break and now it's been a few months.

@marven4lyf: Battle against the bad parents, with the true boss being these pathetic excuses of family XD. Man yeah, beating them up would be so darn nice, bad parents deserve one way trip to the sun. Oh, that guy gets punished? I really need to replay the game huh

@abyssEden: Yes he gets punished by his wife cheating on him. There's another guy in their house at the end named Mr. Prettyman and... Yeaaahhh xD Very deserved imo.

@marven4lyf: Mr. Prettyman? LMAO XD
