My 20th submission to DYOS VI.

Sometimes when I look over my old work, I imagine great mental conundrums that were never present at the time. I want to say adapting Locke to DYOS was a delicate balancing act, but the truth is it just came naturally. His penchant for mischief and mayhem, exacerbated to later international scale by virtue of the Coalition, created the perfect blend of credible threat and comedic adventure. Looking back on my contributions to Volume VI, I don't think it's a coincidence I'm especially happy with the scenes featuring Locke. I'm sorely upset that I wasn't able to bring him back into the fold for DYOS 11.

The last two panels are pretty much a direct rip from the original cartoon. Kaiser Wilhelm moonlighting as a pirate is a shout-out to The Simpsons' Treehouse of Horror XIII segment, "The Fright to Creep and Scare Harms".
