I think you can just say '好き です'. I'm a learner too, but from what I understand, slapping 'desu' after any word is like pointing at it. So 'suki desu' = '(I) like it!'. Or 'watashi wa sore ga suki desu' for the overly formal version 😂 In any case, thank you so much!!
