Bessad is the ships physician. Having a great Knowledge and training in medicine and a variety of different biologies.

He is also a botanist and loves plants. He has become the farmer of the ship; growing plants both in soil and hydroponically for food, medicine and oxygen.

He is a Priest of his particular religion and by virtue of this is a pacifist: he has sworn to do no harm to living beings or deprive them of nourishment, water or air.

Despite how much the crew begrudgingly depend on him; Bessad is unpopular. He is pedantic and fussy, many of the crew find it hard to get along with him and Bessad himself is prone to throwing tantrums and locking himself in his quarters, the ships medical bay or in the ships hydroponics gardens.

He will often play pranks or find ways to inconvenience the crew when in protest or at odds with them.
