SVG reconstruction of the flag of Kinich-Ahau's eponymous country in Imperium Offtopicum IX, originally uploaded to the now-defunct IOT Wiki in 2019.

Kinich was what I classified as one of the "quiet players": competent gamers (ruthlessly so in IdIOT) whose roleplay could be quite inventive when they tried, and yet who never quite wrote enough to get a 'feel' for their play style (indeed, his almost complete disavowal of 'fluff' in later games made his dark horse success in the IdIOT epilogue a source of consternation on my part). In IOT9, he participated in the global dogpile against Spain, and conducted the southern thrust in a simultaneous but uncoordinated invasion of christos200's subsequent Austrian troll state under the auspice of putting down its "Stalinist" clique, and subsequently, the zombies mentioned in the background to christos' warrior-king protagonist. Kinich participated in Ailed's in-universe debate show, "So what is your view on the matter?", as the unnamed national leader and deputy in a debate with SUDS' leaders over jousting ideological outlook, mass media, and the prospect of a replacement United Nations.
