@Camazotz: Ah, yeah, Aussie humour can be audacious and Styles wasn't always tactful in his themes (see: smuggling in fetishes through "parodic" framing). :x For what it's worth, he was riffing on the emo aesthetic and not depression ipso facto, but you're right, it holds up poorly today.
