Do you feel this exercise helps you in how your characters interact with objects and being proportionate to them?
It's a difficulty I've had, particularly when you also have to draw the object.
I see what you're doing here as a clever way to tackle that issue.

On a completely unrelated subject, last month I tossed two armchairs with similar upholstery. It was weirdly emotional: they'd been in the household for thirty years and were still in relatively good condition, but someone wanted to free up space and didn't have the patience to try selling them through classifieds.
And we wonder why there's a pollution problem...
Interesting direction.
I do see people melding digital art with real backgrounds on occasion.
Have you got plans to do more like this? Like have a character climbing a tree or swimming at the beach?
You definitely could make some hilarious stuff.
