@Pumpkyun: I forget if there were many other two-storey dwellings, but this one got me thinking how the concept would work as actual residences.

@Thorvald: Honestly, same. I always thought the hobbit housing would be really awesome to live in (granted you're not super tall). I hadn't even noticed that this one is a two story domicile, but the window sure shows it on the second look. I would loveto see it from the inside.

@Pumpkyun: Sadly only Bag End has a decorated interior, and only enough that it's not opening into plain wood (the indoor scenes were shot in studio). Most of these are just façades.
That's such a neat picture. Love that the LOTR sets.
