Commander Claire Swift
Commander Claire Swift by @ajfox (A Girtz)

Lately I've been busy trying to juggle fall/winter prep, work, chores, and volunteering my time with friends in the community.  Running a bit of a dry spell in the inspiration dept. isn't helping.  I've got some new pieces being drafted out, but so far nothing is popping.  That should (hopefully) change soon.

So it's time to turn to the artist's trusty go-to: Older artwork.

My inner Star Trek geek implores me to post some fan fiction work from a Trek story idea I'd begun developing back in 2019, set in the TOS motion picture era.  (1979-1991)  A young vixen, Claire Swift, posing next to her first command as 1st officer, the Excelsior class USS Wadena.  (Named for the city in Minnesota) She eventually gets command of a Miranda class starship.  Drawn during story development in 2019.
