Flag of the Egyptian Air Force in Taniciusfox's latest IOT ~~horror~~, ATEN. Why, yes, there is a correlation between his selected motif and my choice of player state. ;)

Usually I put these up either when the game has finished or has at least gained some mileage, but it's started with a worldbuilding stage of indeterminate length, and frankly, I like these flags so much that I'm willing to post them upfront. The nation I conceived blends Nasserist patriotism with the Old Religion, with a particular emphasis on a cult centred around Anubis that, thanks to TanIOTs' flexible approach to reality, does not merely pay spiritual dividends. B-) The particulars of the history &c. have not yet been settled, and due to the nature of worldbuilding threads will probably remain in a state of flux until the start of the game proper. Once a solid timeline is laid out, I'll amend this description.

This is my favourite flag of the bunch. By incredible fortune, I managed to land the winged sun dead centre on the Y-axis. While like the other flags it isn't really a deviation from the real thing, I think this is the most seamless blend of modern symbolism and religious iconography into some transcendental ironic whole.
