Artemis Stone and Athena
Artemis Stone and Athena by @klawzie (Chella Reaves)

My other Harry Potter fan character, Artemis Stone and her owl, Athena. (Note that Athena isn't a snow owl like Hedwig, she's a common barn owl.)

I've no idea if Arty is part of the "Marauders Era" or current-era what. She's just a fan character I like to draw who is shamelessly self-insertion (ie: Me, only at least slightly more idealized like most fan characters are.)

Drawn and colored entirely in Painter. Yay Wacom.

Background is a stock photo of a church I edited tombstones out of (well, most of them) and applied a lot of filters to to make it look more cartoony. I'll look for the original photo if nessessary.

I love the character design. Several things popped out at me right away. (No, not those things!)

1) Nice texturing on the clothes. It actually follows the folds of the outfit. Well done.

2) Her left calf seems larger and bulgier than the right. Dunno if it's a perpective thing, but it just looks a little odd to me.

Hey! This is my official first comment. I like this Artemis Stone girl (particularly her name. Nice nomenclature.)
