Space Nazi Flag (DYOS 10.5)
Space Nazi Flag (DYOS 10.5) by @Thorvald (El Thorvaldo)

Hoo boy, I'm gonna attract a crowd with this one.

Flag of the Greater German Space Reich in DRAW Your Own Story 10.5; originally sketched off the cuff for this comic, my only real plan was to play with a scheme different enough from the Party flag to be distinct without becoming too esoteric. The file was originally uploaded on the DYOS Wiki in 2015, improving on a PNG with a somewhat sloppier design.

A mirror-image of sorts to @GenMarshall's Republic of Coruscant, the Space Nazis are descendants of American larpers conceived in his "condense a game of Civilization into thirty years" backstory. Forced to flee the planet after a failed insurrection, they become a bootleg Helghast (sans the social commentary), emerging at the tail-end of DYOS X as the Next Big Bad. Whether they have any connection to the Space Nazis of Zyklon-B mentioned in DYOS VIII remains unclear.

The geometry turned out startlingly apropos in the long run, as the Space Nazis proved absolute squares in strategy, tactics, and logistics—at least they were true to their inspiration. HAV - Pete 'Maverick' Mitchell

If you flipped it the other way, it would become a proper manji.

@chaseawaythedark: Dunno about that, the overall context seems pretty insurmountable. :P

(You would not believe how Wehraboos will contort themselves to gaslight obvious Nazi pics as not """really""" Nazi because the swastika is "only" at a -0.04° tilt, &c.)
