Hi, everyone! I’m here from Wysp, which is shutting down in a few months, and I’ve been trying to find some new places. This site seems pretty nice and I’m glad I found it. I normally draw people with pencil or ballpoint pen, but I'm ready to try exploring different ways of making art and getting better while meeting other artists. Good to meet you all! 🙂

It’s sad to hear that the service you were using is shutting down though. I hope the artworks contained within are archived.

Thanks! Oh yeah, I made sure to save everything and moved them to ArtRift. I’m thinking of posting them here, too. I’m sure gonna miss it. I liked it because it was more low-key, although it seemed much more popular back in the 2010’s.

Is it just me, or have a lot of the smaller sites been folding recently? D:

Hosting is expensive these days. I'm paying $500/month out of pocket just in hosting fees to run Side 7.
