Not a lot behind this one; @GenMarshall was having computer troubles at the time, and it just naturally developed from there. The opening blurb I stole from this Irregular Webcomic!, which in turn is a shout-out to Galaxy Quest.

Map and models created/ported by various Facepunchers I'm too lazy to list at the moment.
