Will make an announcement oekaki drawing for my DA followers
03 Jan 2024, 05:51 AM

I want to let my DA followers know that I’ll permanently be on Side7, I’ll still maybe do some fav’ing on DA but that’s it really. Thanks for reading.

From the way you'd phrase everything past tense I assumed you'd closed your account. :P You must've only added the dA link recently because I never invited you to the Group there.

@Thorvald: Nah, I’m keeping my DeviantArt account up, you can invite me to your group there, if you want to. I’ll still keep it up as an archive to.

@N0-11: Aye, while I'll probably leave my existing works for posterity, I'm seriously debating whether I want to actually upload to dA in future. Duplicating galleries helps shield against any one host going down, but given how the site's capitulated to the AI crowd I can't help wondering if I'm playing myself. (I should see about reuploading everything with Nightshade at least.)

@Thorvald: I've also been thinking of using nightshade for all my DA art and stuff, I really hope all artists try this out instead of giving up their hobby and go crazy/doom post on Twitter or whatever. (Thankfully my laptop didn't tell me that I can't download it, but the zip file for it is loading as well tbh.) I'm also adding Glaze to my hard drive as well, just so I don't up and delete it too.
