Text box weirdness

This is for the bug report. Text formatting in the input boxes behaves weirdly. Despite the Preview function makes them look as expected, the post does not turn out right.

Also the Carriage Return / Line Feed characters (when pressing Enter) get swallowed all the time in the resulted post.

I use the latest version of the Firefox web browser.

It's not just you. Strike through and carriage return always break for me, too.

Yeah. Markdown was a mistake to try to add. It's a pain in the neck, and is due to be phased out soon. You can use HTML, though.
