Kier’yat Guardian Katana
Kier’yat Guardian Katana by @Agondray

Same story with the other two swords, except this one was made out of styrofoam.

In the main story of my Sapphire/Silver sword series, there is a clan of mountain Kier’yats who follow a strict code of discipline and honor. They have knowledge of the namesake sword, as well as the history of the original wielder and his struggles against the forces of the shadows. They were supposed to appear later in the story, around the end of the second arch and at least the first half of the third. They live in a secluded mountain range in this world’s version of Japan or Korea. They wield katana-style swords of their own making.

I thought about giving these Kier’yats different types of swords rather than just katanas, like maybe ones that have more of a resemblance to traditional Korean swords. I also considered giving them a sort of detail that makes them stand out from human weapons, like wolf-like emblems or something as simple as feather decorations.

I’m always open to ideas or suggestions, so feel free to tell me what you think!

@Thorvald: Yeah, they are still pretty common in the props section of Spirit Halloween stores last I checked.
