cake & ice cream
cake & ice cream by @Fihyn (Fin Art)

most people are familiar with picrew, right? image-makers created by artists that allow you to select your favorite options & colors to put them together. C: well, I use the "editable oekaki" feature over on chicken smoothie to make super elaborate picrew-like builders for bedrooms, friendship bracelets, and my latest offering: birthday cake and ice cream. ^o^

the oekaki here on side7 I believe is sourced from the same oekaki that CS uses, which is pretty neat. the first picture in the image above is the cover I created for my cake builder, and the second picture is an example of the kinds of things you can build with it! I love using the editable oekaki to put these builders/makers together because it's not as limited as something like picrew, where the different options have few colors to choose from and usually can't be moved around very much. since you can make your whole oekaki file editable, I can create layers & options that can be custom-recolored and moved freely around the canvas, so there ends up being a ton of customization options.

Good grief, I'm not a foodie buuuut... :D

I can barely sign my name analog so oekaki is a bit beyond my proficiency, but a collage tool might give me a fighting chance. :P

@Thorvald: haha thank you! I'm flattered I caught your non-foodie eye

well if you're ever interested in giving it a go, here's the link! C: I think you might have to have a CS account to use it (just click "color me in"), but since it's classic old internet/forum-based, you don't have to hook it up to any other accounts other than email: https://www.chickensmoothie.com/Forum/viewtopic.php?t=4890903
