@fragmented_imagination: I'm really glad you think so! I agree, I think the mood of the previous piece was a little sharper and more emotional and the mood of this one is a little calmer and more peaceful~ c:

unintentional companion piece for "did you ever expect to understand?"
I did this in december of last year and it has become my favorite piece of non-character work that I've ever drawn, to date, at least. :]

It has a very serene feeling to it compared to "did you ever expect to understand?". I think it's mainly the moon that does it.
