Sammy Boy
Sammy Boy by @Agondray

After a few days of working on it (for quite a few hours per day), this picture is finally finished!

This is a portrait I made of my dog, Samson. I drew it for an art show that's coming up next week. The art show itself is pet-themed, so I thought something like this would be a good entry. You were allowed to make and submit nearly any kind of art medium related to your pets, regardless if they had fur, feathers, scales, four legs, two legs, eight legs, or no legs at all!

I originally intended to start this in July, but my job and certain events kept me busy. Even when I did find time to work on it, there was usually at least one distraction on that day that took time away from it. You know, life happens! But I'm glad I finished it and managed to have a physical print submitted in time.

Despite the tedious and time-consuming process, I am really proud of how this turned out. It looks just like him!

Wow! Neat-o drawing/painting, I like you how captured the detail depth of the shadows in the fur.  :)

Is it a competition to win? Because if it is, I hope you win. ^_^

@Weasel_Silver24: Hey, sorry for the late response!

Thank you so much!

A lot of those little details were one of the reasons this took so long to make. But I think it was worth it in the end.

Unfortunately, I was having issues with printing it at home, and some of the sites were making it annoying with their printing services. I had to shrink the image down to an 8x10 instead of the usual 8.5x11 to print it out with the service I did use. So the physical copy I have submitted is missing some of the picture.

I'm actually not sure if there was a competition or not. My family and I went up to camp on the first day of exhibition, so I can't really say. Thank you anyways! ^_^
