It’s a Nice Day, Isn’t It?
It’s a Nice Day, Isn’t It? by @bobambee (Bam Bee)

It’s been soooo long time since I’ve drawn Cream. I think she was the first sonic character I drew because, one, I was obsessed with rabbits (still am), and two, her floppy ears made my day better. I’m gonna try to do more dynamic poses, but thought I’d get this out of the sketchbook because I kinda liked it. My backgrounds need work in detail, but I also didn’t feel like it. One day xD It was more a focus on them anyways xP Cream the Rabbit & Cheese the Chao © Sega

Hey, way cool Cream and Cheese springy-time picture! If you are "obsessed" with rabbits check out my gallery, there is at least TWO Cream the Rabbit pics I did, and then Loonatics Unleashed - Ace and Lexi... Oh! And Fallapart Rabbit from Disney's Bonkers, and Peppy Hare - Star Fox. :)

Comments are always welcome and enjoy!

I absolutely love how soft the colors in this are! It gives the piece a cheerful feeling, all of the colors are harmonious and go together beautifully! Between the expressions and poses it really brings the piece to life! I also noticed that your lineart is so smooth and pretty, but your shading works together with your lineart making the coloring even deeper and more dynamic. I also love the fact that there is grass in front of the shoes!

@HeftyLesbian: oh gosh, thank you! <3 >< Cheery vibe for the besties. :D This type of line art is pretty new to me, and I almost ditched it halfway through, so it means a lot the coloring works together. ;v; I almost forgot to add grass in front of them kicks, she would’ve been floating in midair XD

@bobambee: You’re welcome!!! I’m so glad you didn’t! It fits your style so well, I totally get it though. I’ve ditched so many pieces just because I was trying something new and didn’t like it. But it still would’ve been fine without the grass in front, it just adds more detail. 😤

The quasi-3D texture of the lighting calls to mind Barbara Reid's Plasticine work. :O

Once again, you did an amazing job on the colors! Cream and Cheese also look adorable and the background is well drawn, giving me a spring or early summer vibe!

This kinda reminds me of the one scene from an episode of Sonic X, though I can’t remember which episode it was.

@Agondray: aw thank you! Ah! Now that you mention it there was a scene I remember of her picking flowers to make a flower crown for her mom when she saw her again ;;w;; my heart
