Tiro Kari: Corax
Tiro Kari: Corax by @Agondray

Next up is a character I think I might end scrapping if and when I ever work on my fighting game idea.

This guy I named . . . Corax! This guy was supposed to be an infamous criminal in the world of Tiro Kari. He makes a living selling weapons, narcotics, banned technology, and other forms of black market goods. Although Corax does have some goons that serve under his wing, he isn’t really afraid to take on any potential enemies himself. In fact, he had himself willingly undergo cybernetic alteration and transplanting so he can more easily and effectively snuff out any snoopers, spies, authorities, and even rival cartel members. Even though he is already both feared and respected amongst the criminal underworld, he’s always looking for ways to oust the competition and gain more wealth and power for himself. So when he heard of a combat tournament being held in a foreign nation, Corax saw it as an excellent opportunity to gain more prestige for himself. A few, even within his own gang, questioned the decision to join this tournament. Some have even called him an “arrogant fool” for competing in such a thing. He knows about those things . . . and honestly does not care! Any who give him any bullcrap about it will feel his boot . . . or his plasma cutter blade. Whichever comes first!

If you guys couldn’t tell by now, this guy is pretty much a Kano ripoff. Hence is why I plan on scrapping him. The concept of my “Tiro Kari” universe has also changed since I first created these characters, so Corax is a bit outdated at this rate. I also wasn’t exactly sure what his fighting style would’ve been like. Though, I think using projectiles and more long-range attacks was part of it, so he probably would’ve been a “Zoner” or something similar. He would’ve preferred to keep his foes at a distance, but would then struggle to fight back if his opponent managed to close the distance. He likely could’ve been a decent choice for those who like to spam projectiles or simply fight at a distance. But like I said, I plan on scrapping him in the future, so I guess it doesn’t really matter.

What are your thoughts on Corax?
