This is a picture I've been working on over the last few days. Getting it just right. It's a little personal project of mine. That's my Ben there. He's the protector of this magical land called Monra Isil Nóre. (It's elvish) The writing there is all in elvish too. If you want to know what it means.. too bad!! ahahaha!! >.> koff Anyways.. I'm happy with how this turned out. =D

lol. An expert on Elvish? You do realize that's a made up language right? Or.. you're friend does yes? lol. (It's like those ppl that learn to read, write and speak Klingon.. lol) Anyways.. just so you know, it's written in english words, so it's not elvish words written in elvish.. I'm not that fanatic or have that much time on my hands to find out how to say each word in elvish.. well, I can do that since I know the names IN elvish.. but.. yeah... I'm just too lazy to do that exactly.. XD;;; Have fun translating! ((there's also the option of looking up Lobenzo_ and seeing what his elvish name is.. lol))

OH MY GOODNESS!!!!eyes go wide and start to water after looking at the pic this is seriously..uh..good!!!! gah! you are so good! i cant stand it lol! but no this is really really really good!!!!!!! i love those lupes (if they are anyways) under the branch! those are...what is it..PERFECT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Man i wish i was as good as you! gasps for breath no julie this is perfect! i have to print this out and stick it on my wall so i can admire it all the time!!!! your art always chears me up and well one time i actually fell out of the chair a couple of times because your art work is good! i got a couple bruises but....thats fine! i get all my friends to look at your art and the are just amazed! i am always surprised whenever i see your art! this is very very very very very good! gah! No, the water lupess is not mine. Her name is Paluure (that's just part of her name). Anyways... yeah, she's not mine, the only one in this piccy that's mine is Ben. (the tree rodent.. lol). Thanx though Laura, glad you like. I think I might print this out too. lol.

oh my god, this is spectacular, youve outdone yourself julie, you must have collapsed afterwards, kind of @_@ heeehee the background is excellent, did you paint it? ben is, as always. adorable and he has 5 fingers and toes? all gripping and stuff. the three elementals are great, i love the blue one best, no the red one, noe wait, my faves the green........ bah! i cant decide!! i like bens tree, yes a very nice tree indeed but his foot looks sort of funky, just sort of sitting there, never mind its got to be the best youve done......yet!

Yeah, I gave him more hand like feet like that to make him more realistic as a tree climbing lupe. Cuz a normal pawed dog/wolf can't climb trees, so this makes more sense, like a cat or rodent like that. Anyways.. as far as the background, yes and no. I colored it still on the comp, put in colors and things and all this stuff blending, then took this option in the fliters, and made it a watercolor look, so that's how it turned out. I think it makes it look better. XD;; So yeah. Thanx.

one more thing.. what foot you talking about... there are three feet in the picture.. lol. But if you mean the back foot, I know, I saw that it just seems to be sitting there rather than actually clinging to the tree, but I'm too lazy to bother to fix it. XD;;

This has to be my number one favorite picture. Well I bet that everyone has said that. Its just amazing what you can do with your imagination! I like the wolf on the tree (i can remember his name though) and I love the three what look like fire, earth, and water wolves. Hey if you think about it you have all four elements!!! Kool!!

Just out of curiosity, where did you get the name for the land? I mean, I know it's Elvish and all but where did you come up with Monra Isil Nóre? Was it from a site or from like the appendix in one of Tolkien's books or something? (There is actually an appendix for Elvish and all in Return of the King I think)

We made it up. Actually.. one of my friends that helped me come up with it. Okay, she came up with it and I liked it. lol. It actually means "Realm of the Darkened Moon" So there you are. It comes from Tolkins elven words yes, but it's entirely made up.... so yeah. XD;;
