Forest tree monster thing
Forest tree monster thing by @ragukokarn

No AI involved. I think the reference for the forest backdrop might have been though, it is hard to tell these days :(

I don't do a whole lot of digital painting. Maybe I should.

When I do, this kind of stuff came out, I guess..

Model made in Zbrush (with far too few polygons it turns out) and the rest is done in Photoshop.

Zbrush is awesome, but so weird to work with. I am not good at using it. That will be a goal of mine.

Oooh, this has the vibe of those early-2000s mystery-puzzle games. Syberia is one of the most gorgeous series I've ever known, and I wonder if anyone's done a high-fantasy simile.

I'm getting a point-and-click adventure game vibe from this pic. There were a few that had a strange and alien aesthetic like this. I vaguely remember playing one or two of those kind of games on the old family computer when I was little.

Anyways, I really like this image! This strange being looks like it could an NPC for one of said games.
