drawcast was a social media for artists within a mobile drawing app, and flipnote hatena was kind of the same thing, a place to post animations within an animation app for the nintendo DSi

I have multiple...
One of my favorites was MiiVerse, up to its closing. I used to be a member of ClosedVerse which was a MiiVerse fan revival, but I left after they made a bunch of NSFW communities which I found tasteless, because there are no mature content filters, and the primary demographic of the original MiiVerse was children, and I had a feeling they might see the revival, sign up, and see all of that. I honestly have no interest in seeing if it's still there; still can't find a SFW-only alternative that I like.

Another was MySpace, even though I never got to use it before the atrocious update that people often compare to DeviantArt's, simply because I was too young to legally own an account on anything. I have a SpaceHey account though.

There's also Club Penguin which me and my boyfriend played in school together up until it also shut down. I didn't get to play Club Penguin Island, but I'll sometimes join fan revivals. However, I'm very cautious about joining them after the Club Penguin Online scandal.

I still hold nostalgic feelings for the old YouTube, but the best revival currently is BitView. Even after VidLii got a new mod that dealt with all of the disturbing NSFL content, most of us that used to use it are still sketchy about returning.

Speaking of revivals, has anyone ever heard of MaceSpy? It was this obscure revival of the old DeviantArt that never really went anywhere; I'm not sure if the devs plan on doing anything with it at this point.

I visited the site and the nostalgia is real haha. It's nice to see that the community is still present.

Oekaki.nl, I enjoyed using that site when I was looking for a place to make oekaki drawings, thankfully I archived all of the drawings/animations I can from my account before the site gut shut down.

The site used to be up when I logged into that site in 2018.

The site was made by an artist named roelvanmastbergen, and nowadays the creator of this defunct site has moved onto to making games and stuff.

I have an account that's archvied in the Flipnote Hatena Archive site.

(I'll call my account Anna for now, since this is way before I knew about pen names when I was a kind to my preteens.)

I guess another site I should have mentioned is Victory Road. For some reason, Malwarebytes keeps blocking it, thinking it's a malicious site, even though the forum has been read-only for well over 6 years now, so there's obviously nothing dangerous on it even while it was active. I never got to sign up before registration got disabled, but I would lurk and download resources from there.

Nowadays, I just use the PokéCommunity forums. The official Pokémon forum seems to be used to complain about game bugs, and rarely for discussion about the games themselves or other Pokémon related media.
