Unless I'm mistaken, there doesn't seem to be an option to just browse through a category instead of searching for something specific. In other words, could we get the ability to pick a category and just browse to it similarly to how you can do with Groups and the User Directory?

Category browsing is on the to-do list and is probably waiting on a rework of the categories themselves.

Yeah, it's on my To-do List, which currently stands at 41 Tasks.
