Never trust “professionals”
04 Nov 2023, 05:56 PM

Basically don’t trust any so called professionals that aren’t even trying to be professional at all and act like smug pieces of garbage and acting like they’re so much better than Hollywood and other companies by constantly virtue signaling about it, when most of them are all Hollywood wannabes, cut me the sympathy bait stuff too, because I don’t want to hear any of it tbh. I hate Hollywood wannabes in general, I hope their dreams get crushed by wanting to work with a bunch of demons in human skin in general. (Looking at you CunnngCondor, ok now I’ll bury this rusty hatchet. But still, I hope the U.S. entertainment industry destroys itself more often.)

Yeah, a lot of those people from Hollywood tend to be grade A dirtbags. Hollywood itself is rife in all sorts of shady business.

I feel the same about the so-called “experts” that try to tell people what to do and state “facts” on the news media outlets. It’s all just propaganda!

@Agondray: I'm all for vigilance against media bias, but blanket statements like this are part of the same problem: if the so-called Post-Truth age has demonstrated one thing, it's that when you believe in nothing, you are, in fact, liable to believe everything.

@Thorvald: That’s actually a good point!

Sorry, I guess I got a little too carried away. Now I feel like I’m starting to sound like my dad. I just don’t know what to truly believe anymore.

@Agondray: As my dad would say: Trust, but verify.

@Thorvald: Thank you for this advice!

@Agondray: Remember: I'm pulling for you; we're all in this together.

I know Cunning Condor too.

Knew him on DA and Wysp.

But yeh I agree with what you're saying. Over this monopoly in entertainment and art.

@The-Wizard-of-Zaar: Yeah, I just seriously despise how everything is a monopolist contest now in every industry, it’s blood boiling.

We discusses this before on the forums. I'm in absolute agreement, it's no longer about the joy of art and creation. Money, clout and the appearance of being a professional or having made it is far more important in many people's minds...

I don't like how these people think.

@The-Wizard-of-Zaar: Yeah, me neither, I still believe that CunningCondor is a complete prick as well. People who want to do art as a career will hopefully get a wake up call, and make a back up plan. (I still hate his guts tbh, but I'll relax now.) I'm mainly selling shirts and stuff as a side thing for money too, not as a career.
