Dancing ‘Round The Maypole (2022)
Dancing ‘Round The Maypole (2022) by @N0-11 (Nihilina Gloomee)

A switch illustration I made that’s for a contest at the time that’s themed around the Maypole, so I figured I make this Midsommar fan drawing, and I also won, which is pretty nice. Originally uploaded to Colorslive on 23rd of Jun, 2022.

no wonder why you won, this is really well done, i love the perspective in this, makes me feel like i amthere watching. + this reminded me of a swedish friend i met online on Drawcast long ago, they told me about how they celebrated midsommar, how they made the flower crowns and sang about frogs. they told me about surstromming too but that's unrelated to midsommar XD just a food they eat there

@Camazotz: I saw a Swedish YouTuber reviewing surstromming, I love fish but I’m not sure about surstromming though.
