Soul of the Dragon
Soul of the Dragon by @Agondray

This was a piece I did for an art show when I was still in high school. It was actually one of three pictures I made for the show, and that this was the one that got picked to be presented. This drawing was also one of several pieces of artwork that earned the Jurors’ Choice award.

The believe the idea behind this drawing is that the girl is half human, half dragon. Although she has the ability to turn into a dragon, she still has the mind of a human. She has to learn to overcome her human fears and weaknesses, and develop the kind of strength and courage found in that of a dragon. Her human and dragon halves spiritually merge, and her soul becomes strong and whole. A soul of a dragon.

Yeah, I love coming up with stories and developing them. It might do one for this concept in the future.

Anyways, hope you guys and gals enjoy! This was definitely a bit of a passion project of mine!

This brings back memories of one of my favorite NES games, called Dragon Spirit. Have you revisited this story lately? Any new inspiration to write about it?

@Cynicallia: I haven’t revisited it in a while. I did have a basic idea for what the story was, but nothing written as of yet.
