@Camazotz: As I described on the forums, an open-source database with full attribution would solve most of the ethical issues with this stuff. Hell, it wouldn't be that hard to script an automatic traceback to list everything that contributed to the final output.

A little late for April Fool's, this is a unique convergence where a DYOS comic also doubles as a general gallery upload. A colleague had mentioned reading an article on the subject, and the more I got musing, the more I knew I had to follow through. Aside from the panel grid, this is the first I've turned a page around within 24 hours in quite some time—all the more impressive given I put actual effort in. :p
