Years ago by means since lost to time, I stumbled on "Xenokaze", an incredibly obscure mashup/remix of "Gaur Plain" from Xenoblade Chronicles with an as-yet-unidentified vocal track. There seems to be no trace of this song outside SoundCloud, and the author wasn't forthcoming with their sources, so I have no idea what's actually being sung.

It's a bit of a long shot, but as S7 was founded as an anime community, does any of the old guard know enough Japanese to weigh in?

Honestly, I have no idea what the vocals are from. They don't sound familiar to me, and I'm not fluent in Japanese so I can't translate them.

Hatsune Miku "Hibikase" by Giga-P. I recognize the lyrics even if I don't immediately know the words. The cover image more or less gave it away, but actually hearing the words confirmed it. I can't really say it impresses me that the guy who mixed the song doesn't know that the Miku song is "Hibikase", not "Hibikaze', as their title tries to blend.

I thought it was vocaloid but I wouldn't even know where to start looking from scratch. The video does have English subtitles, so no worries on that front.
