I've pitched in my opinion, too. I suppose it shouldn't be a surprise that an AI artist would try to hock their artwork on Patreon.

Most of these AI people haven't work in their life, if you see the groups on DA they talk about how they avoid work, and how AI is a new welfare scheme for them and how "workers" are evil and shouldn't be paid a fair wage as they don't "produce enough anyway". And somehow they are affording expensive GPUs and even whole GPU farms just to train AIs for their rip offs. They are a weird mixture of the bourgeoisie and welfare abuser. The ones on DA at least are a bunch of criminals and treat others' unpaid work as their passive income while posting automatically from a bot like 3-5x a day and now they are targeting Patreon. That is for the same quality of pictures that take weeks to months to produce by an actual artisan.

Big tech can even bans the very people that make those unpaid works to have those works feed into AI generators for money

Thank you, I just signed it. AI suck ups can disappear tbh, alongside scammers using ai to make more scam nonsense too.

The ones that use it for art theft are, but there were attempts to make AI generators that only use work by volunteers for the project, and the unethical AI bros ruined that too. I really do think this technology could have been used for great things, but the misuse of the technology is solely on the individual, let's leave their innocent family members out of it.
