Despite CivGeneral using Kusanagi through most of DYOS, I only finally saw Stand Alone Complex around 2010. Instantly fell in love—I'm not really an anime guy but it was refreshing to see a bona fide adult cartoon that asked hard questions about technocracy. Given how our actual cyberspace has advanced since then, I can only imagine the field day they'd have writing it now.
I oughta rewatch the series...

@Thorvald: I rewatch the series every other year, it's just a cyberpunk crime series that happens to be animated without alot of the cliches usually associated with anime. And the characters are just cool, Batou is a bro
My all-time favorite anime character. You really did a bang-up job on her! She looks amazing!
