Do you mean embedding an image in a message? Or attaching a file to the message to be downloaded?

Not currently. It's been on my list for a while. Just need to get over some hurdles with that, first.

let me describes what I mean: it works like Deviantart's point commission widget

I haven't used DeviantArt for a decade. And even then I never got that deep into it. I have no idea what the point commission widget is or how it works.

it works just like that, except uses Side7 credits instead of deviantart points

So, is the description "iOS App Icon", etc. the requester's input? Or is that what the artist is offering to do for 4000 pts? I'm assuming the latter.

The latter, yes. I guess the idea is to provide a quick template for the kind of commissions that are available at what cost and avoid back-and-forthing a bit.

One way I've seen it done on other sites is to pair announcements with dedicated forum threads. BK apparently was doing it on this board (manually?) up until 2014, so with some database tweaks it could be made an automated process.

Yeah, it was being done manually. I might just make some changes and have it create a forum thread in the process.
